One of the amazing things about the Internet as an entity is that despite all of its' technological advances, it's sites like MySpace, IMing, Ebay and dating sites that set the tone - just more ways for people to feel MORE connected to others. It's a big shared experience. Granted, Ebay isn't a 'feeling' site, but it allows us to buy stuff that makes us feel happy. Dating in Baltimore is surely a reminder of how few layers separate any and all of us.
